I wrote these scripts to work with my SupraFaxModem v.32 14.4
These scripts were written to use between 2 SupraFaxModem v.32 modems. If you have a different setup and these scripts don't work drop me a message.
I have enclosed two modem scripts to use with the supra modem. Supra Corp. wanted 100.00 to buy their script and told me they wouldn't have them till the begining of may. A hundred bucks for something this simple (I don't think so). So I wrote my own. I used HyperCard (hypercard can read and write to any kind of a file) and a lot of guess work to write these scripts. I didn't get the toolkit described in the AppleTalk Remote Access manual.

2. SupraFaxModem(L) v.32bis
The first script (SupraFaxModem v.32bis) functions just like any other Appletalk Remote Access Modem Script.
The second (SupraFaxModem(L) v.32bis) when used to dial out with will keep trying until it gets through.
If it fails to connect it tells you what might have gone wrong in the Remote Access Status window. And also logs it in the Activity Log.
I use this script along with a QuicKey sequence to automatically dial out to one of our remote sights and connect to its Fileserver. I then run a program on my mac that downloads all the remote sights recently modified records to my mac. Then using AppleEvents and quickeys to get around that Fu*^@ng connect dialog box. (Why Apple put it there even for guests I'll never know) to make the remote sight run that same download program on its mac.
This is all done automatically at night without anyone pushing any buttons.

Hardware Handshaking:
To use the supraFaxModem v.32 14.4 modem to work you must have a cable that supports hardware handshaking.
To test if your cable supports this check that Pin 1 on the Macintosh's side of the plug goes to Pin 4 on the modem side.
and that Pin 2 on the Macintosh's side goes to Pin 5 on the modems side.
